Larry Silverman - Team Building InstructorPersonality Profile: 
Larry Silverman, President
People First, Leadership and Performance Learning Systems

Larry is currently the President of People First, the provider of executive training programs specializing in leadership, team building, and performance learning systems. He is also a professor at Antioch University in Santa Barbara, and the University of San Francisco, College of Professional Studies within the department of Organizational Behavior where he specializes in courses in leadership and advanced management programs.

Before starting People First in 1997, Larry had a career of nearly three decades with both Federal Express and Continental Airlines where he served as Director of Training having held senior level positions in both sales and marketing.   He has lectured extensively throughout the United Sates, South Pacific, and Asia on the subjects of leadership and change management.

Larry obtained his masters degree in Organizational Development at the University of San Francisco.  He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California where he majored in business. In addition, he is an avid sailor having earned three key sailing certificates from the American Sailing Association. Larry is very well versed not only in his sailing abilities as an effective skipper but can effectively demonstrate how these leadership skills are synonymous with the concepts of leadership and teamwork that are vital for success in today’s ever-changing business environment.

½ day in-class leadership seminar with optional ½ day reinforcement Sailing Regatta (Additional Cost).

Stage 2:
Full day leadership seminar with optional ½ or full day reinforcement Sailing Regatta (Additional Cost).

No prior sailing experience is required.

Sailing in from the back wall of the Museum is a replica of a Wilson Bros. lumber schooner that contains a state-of-the-art multimedia theater. The Munger Theater offers a high-tech audio-visual experience for the whole family, with films that take the viewer on underwater adventures, tall ships round the horn, deep sea archeological explorations and much more. In a special event setting, the Munger Theater is an ideal space for lectures, films and digital presentations. The setting is comfortable with either standard rows of chairs, or with tables as a dinner-theater or lounge.

Santa Barbara Harbor’s Marine Classroom (Holds 45 max)

Hotel Oceana (Holds 50 max)

The Hotel Oceana Santa Barbara has an executive meeting space that can accommodate from 5 to 50 people. The conference room has gorgeous, Pacific Ocean views. Catered breakfast, lunch and dinner is also available in the conference room, outdoors on an adjacent ocean view patio.
