The Santa Barbara Sailing Center now features various options for sport fishing. Whether you're looking for a fully crewed fishing charter boat out to the Channel Islands to catch Rockfish, Halibut and Calico Bass, or you just want to rent one of our small power boats to catch bonito and other local fish outside of the harbor, we have something for everyone. Small Boat Rentals by the Hour
If you just want to take the kids out fishing for an hour or two, our 13' Boston Whaler is a great, economical way to get out on the water for your very own fishing adventure. You can rent our 13' Whaler for the hour or the whole day.

What To Bring On Your Fishing Charter

Fishing gear and bait are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Guests should bring:

Food and drinks (not provided or available on the boat)

Sunglasses, hat, sunscreen and camera.

Comfortable non marking soled shoes if possible.

Dress in layers as it tends to be cooler on the water.

Cooler to bring your fish home with you.

If necessary take motion sickness medication according to manufacturer’s directions.

Any person who is 16 years of age or older must possess a sport fishing license.

A gratuity for the captain is not included.

Deposits:
100% of the total charter, non-refundable and due the day reservation is made.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, checks and cash.

Change Of Date:
Charter date changeable with $50.00 fee until 30 days prior to rental date.

Cancellation:
100% of charter or refer to change of date policy.
SBSC reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or delay private charters for inclement weather at discretion of on site manager.
