The sheltered waters off Santa Barbara offer mild conditions for gaining confidence while you learn to sail on boats up to 26' (ASA 101 Basic Keelboat Sailing), and then we progress through Basic Coastal Cruising (ASA 103) to Bareboat Chartering (ASA 104) by sailing to the world-famous Channel Islands National Park, only 23 miles off our coastline.

Upon completion of our bareboat classes in these challenging waters you will have the skills and confidence to sail or charter anywhere in the world! Our class formats are both comprehensive and informative; our graduates are well educated and have confidence and competence. Choose from scheduled classes, allow us to schedule a class which is convenient for you, or choose a semi-private comprehensive liveaboard class with free sailing incorporated into the courses.
