Since 1962, The Santa Barbara Sailing Center’s “Club” has sought to make the sport of sailing accessible to everyone. We are not only here to save you money on your charters, but to provide an exciting arena for all your yachting needs. From parties and seminars, to flotillas and fireworks, we’re all about fun on the water. With over 40 boats in our program, as well as a large staff with impressive sailing resumes, we’re eager to plot an unforgettable course for you and your family towards a lifestyle of cruising. |

Our world class location has many benefits, including The Channel Islands National Park, just 23 miles off our coastline. The Santa Barbara Channel makes for a challenging and beautiful area to sail and cruise. With the broad spectrum of conditions accessible within the Santa Barbara area, we are able to accommodate the sailor of all levels. |
The Santa Barbara Sailing Center is also home to an award winning Sailing School, which has won the prestigious American Sailing Association School of the Year two years in a row. Our school offers every level of professional accreditation, as well as specialty programs such as Heavy Weather Tactics and Racing. Your confidence in yourself and the yacht to withstand heavy conditions will be unsurpassed after you experience sailing around the California Channel Islands.
Once you are a member of our sailing club, we are committed to meeting all of your yachting needs. We are very proud of the fact that we have numerous members that have remained with us since the early 1980s, and continue to log in unbelievable experiences year after year. - Life Time Household Family Membership Initiation Fee: $525.00
(one-time fee*)
- Membership Dues: $25.00 / Month (Billed quarterly at $75.00)
- Automatic Bill Pay - Automatic $75.00 quarterly charge to your credit card on file.
- Invoice Billing - Invoice for $75.00 quarterly and you choose how to pay.
* Unpaid dues will result in cancellation of membership.
